Ginger coriander drumsticks

Serves: 4

Preparation time: 15 minutes

Cooking time: 25 minutes


  • 2 tspn finely grated ginger
  • 2 colves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tblsp chopped coriander
  • 2 tspn oil
  • 8 Lilydale drumsticks
  • Sesame seeds to serve


  1. In a small bowl, mix together the ginger, garlic, coriander and oil.
  2. Using your finger, gently separate the skin from the meat. And put a teaspoon of the coriander mixture under the skin and evenly spread. Secure skin using a toothpick.
  3. Place chicken on a wire rack set over a baking tray and bake in a 190C preheated oven for 25 minutes or until chicken is just cooked through.
  4. Serve chicken sprinkled with sesame seeds.
